Being a Modern Heretic

sometimes I wonder:am I the only one who notices the discrepancies in the official narrative or rhythm changes?

Keeping It Unreal

It’s not easy going against the grain in any time period, in any society. In our present crumbling America, it may be more difficult than ever.

When you oppose both authoritarian political correctness, and the all-encompassing greed that has produced an unprecedented disparity of wealth, as I do, your prospects in all ways will be severely limited. Family and friends roll their eyes, at best, and at worst shun you. Prospective employers are not impressed.

It’s hard to enjoy anything when you’re a heretic. I should have been more thrilled than I was, as an old-time Washington Senators fan, to see the Nationals win the World Series. While I watched more baseball than I have in many years, and was happy over the victory, it was impossible to ignore the diminished level of play. This is probably even more the case with professional basketball and football. Since I can’t watch…

1896 Toulouse Lautrec gives Aubrey Beardsley a piece of hashish to eat

After a  couple of hours where he started to complain that  he is not feeling anything different ,  Beardsley broke out into loud, tumultous laughter ,which apparently was so  infectious that they all  had to laugh uncontrollable, even though they hadn’t ingested any .-With them  was  the publisher of de decadents, Leonard Smithers. Toulouse Lautrec  hfeared sthey might get thrown out but fortunately they were in a chambre privee . which probably was sound insulated with more than a curtain. Those chambre privee  never made it into anglo saxon space? Anyway here Aubrey Beardsley went on to develop his own  artistic visual style and here is the cover of  FITZ HUGH LUDLUM – the american son of a vicar from a small town where 100 years later Woodstock music and arts fair was organised by cannabis traders

Henry Ford, the Schlichten decorticator and renewable alternative to fossil fuels

Hemp ethanol is about five times cheaper than gasoline

According to biofuel expert Tim Castleman, hemp ethanol could be produced for 1.37 per gallon plus the cost of the feedstock, with technological improvements and tax credits reducing the price another dollar or so per gallon!
Tell that to Henry Ford and the Chemurgy group in 1930s who had high hopes on renewable energies for cars from hemp through usage of the Schlichten decorticator.

All for nothing due to -as it seems the finanical investments by Melon banks investment in Du Pond, General Motors and possibly Hearst’s which needed protecting.

Andrew Mellon was the head of the Treasury and as such Anslinger’s boss. Around 1934 Anslinger changed tack with regard to Marijuana enforcement on federal level: initially perhaps only to get the Uniform Narcotic Act signed up by the States, though there are some indications that inside the treasury they gave him instructions to go for the Marihuana tax Act – which he really didn’t want, was understaffed and only had half hearted support of the states in the depth of the depression.

Fact is the orchestrated Reefer Madness media campaigns started just after the Volstead Act had been repealed by the new President, a democrat ( Anslinger was a Republican and might well have feared for his job or heard of plans to amalgate the FBN with all other secret services.

MARIHUANA TAX ACT of 1937 which hysterically claimed to go after non existing marihuana fiends did in fact wipe out thehemp industry which had a very promising future at that point in time . ( Popular mechanics headline 1938 spoke of ‘a 1 billion dollar crop of hemp’ . The MTA 37 outlawed a little little know, geographically and demographically limited drug called MARIHUANA , possibly the main purpose was to stop the industrial revival of hemp due to the labour saving Schlichten decorticator . ( Jefferson’s and Washington’s investments in hemp production had failed because of the intense and unpleasant labour processes involved.

the famous cover of the important book. The cover was drawn by Aubrey Beardsley in his unique style.
Fitz Hugh Ludlow , the bookish son of a libertaerian vicar from Poughkeepsie, where 100 years later the Woodstock Arts and Music fair was taking place,- financed by guess what. And of course the Ludlow memorial library is the leading library in the world – in San Francisco with a focus on mind expanding plants etc
